Bad people still deserve to be treated like people and not objects. This isn't about Kim K specifically, it's about the fact that Kanye's attitude is harmful and possessive regardless of who's on the receiving end.

I agree with that 100%. But people viewing the Kardashians as sympathetic people is wild.

Well, the 2 alternatives are ignoring them being objectified because you think they're bad people or agreeing with them being objectified because they're bad people. Neither of which make you a great person either.

Yeah wild to have sympathy for a woman being controlled by her husband. How could we?

Kanye is a man with a huge platform. Regardless of how you feel about him or his wife, when he models controlling, shitty behavior, it normalizes it in society.

She is still a person and a mother of 4. She deserves human decency and doesn’t deserve to be controlled like property by her husband. Coming in here to claim this site is usually good with an irrelevant trash opinion is v weird.

Not to mention I don't think I've ever seen the Kardashians brought up on this site without the caveat of how problematic they are.

I just came in here to say fuck Drake and it's disgusting how many people I know who are so quick to call our problematic behavior but make an exception for him him.

So glad her music career fucking died.

  20. So you're telling me Tiny Engines's first act after having their predatory business practices exposed and a bunch of their roster jump ship is to... run a holiday sale? No statement or attempt at explanation after weeks of radio silence? A fucking holiday sale? Like anyone wants to give them money? Fuck off into the sun.

Other than Adult Mom, do we know what other bands have jumped ship? I haven’t been able to catch up on this story.

  23. And Long Neck were supposed to announce new music and presumably a second album on that label the week after the Adult Mom story broke. I would assume every planned release for 2020 is on ice.

Good for them. I mean, the situation is obviously very unfortunate and not ideal, but I’m glad it seems other bands have their back.

  25. The American indie label ecosystem is large enough to accommodate them and all these other bands who right now are without a home for any new music they had planned. I'm sure they'll find someone!
