I think it's time to give The Hills Have Eyes remake another shot. I haven't seen it since its release.

Definitely going to give it another shot. I wasn't happy with it back in 06, but I can't really remember why..weird.

Netflix keeps reminding me that I never finished Creep. I stopped like 20 minutes in. It was pretty uncomfortable, but I guess that's the point. Worth finishing?

Creep was mediocre imo but I can't tell you not to watch it, even if you hate it at first you might love it going forward. But I thought it was weak

    stranger things is so good

  15. Watched The Wailing last night. It's a Korean film with a 2 1/2 hr runtime, which seems daunting, but it's so worth it. One of the year's best for me. Loved it. Pretty sure someone in this thread mentioned it a while back, so thanks for that.

Hands down my favorite Netflix original. Acting, direction, and character development are so solid.

Yeah, ST is really good. It perfectly captures that 80's feel that I really miss in horror.

I really hope the soundtrack goes up for streaming somewhere, it's one of the best parts of the show. Reminds me so much of John Carpenter's scores.

It immediately brought me back to, "The Guest," and at times even, "Halloween III."

How is Stranger Things as far as on screen violence goes? I'm curious if it's a show I can watch with my girlfriend. She can't handle violence of pretty much any level above a PG rating haha

There's really not much realistic violence at all honestly. She should be fine watching this.

A couple of shootings/killings and some supernatural stuff.
