...Christ you’re hard work. A normal person here might actually clarify what it is they’re talking about when questioned. Like good grief I actually tried to understand your position despite previous disagreements and you’re still a pain in the arse. I give up.

 

I have such a love/hate relationship with MW... I’ve been enjoying it more than the last few COD’s, and when it’s fun, it’s a blast... but when it’s not, it’s infuriating!

And, I’ve never liked Claymores and all those stupid death traps, in COD, that people just plant around randomly. It’s like “nahhh, meet me face to face and we’ll see how easily you get that kill, huh?!”

Real men play with Frags, period. lol

 

The proximity mines are much worse than the claymores imo. I genuinely enjoy the game tho and I think it’s easily my favorite MP wise

 

Damn. Was with you til the end. People just throw random drags and Semtex and get lucky half the time. Sometimes halfway across the damn map because they know the spawns.

Proximity mines are easier to avoid though! You crouch or slide/prone and won’t die most of the time. You take damage but if you’re not standing it won’t kill you. Unless you’re on hardcore.

Hardcore mode is excellent and how these types of MP games should play. Can’t stand being in standard modes, shooting people then they turn around and one-shot me somehow. Felt the same with BF5. Sniping is redundant unless you’re in hardcore matches.

 

The spawns can be REALLY bad though. It’s like they don’t flip or rotate properly half the time. I’ve also noticed some bad head-glitching and some weird perspective issues, where you’ll die and you can barely see the enemy around a corner, yet they see you clearly.

The general mechanics and gunplay feel really good though. Fun game when it’s not throwing you a bunch of BS...

 

The MP5 is straight up one of the very best weapons in the game, use the right combo of attachments (especially the 10mm ammo conversion and FMJ perk) and you can just wreck people.

 

FAL. Hardcore. Sorted. One shot. Delicious.

 

I haven't played for like a week or so and it feels good to not want to haha

Might even trade it in soon, still can get quite a bit of money back from it at CeX haha

 

Always used to go get a quote for trade-ins at CeX then take that to Game. They have/had a policy where they had to beat the deal by a quid. Each time.

It was disgusting haha...when I initially got a PS4 I traded like a STUPID amount of 360 games in with that deal. I felt so bad for the staff. They had 3 guys all dedicated to checking the discs and scanning them into the system. There was like 3 Leaning Tower of Pisas on the desk and there I was humming away as I got more out my bag, gleeful in the knowledge I was getting more than I should be. And the receipt? My victory scarf.

 

This is why we still need physical discs!

It's probably recency bias but Pokemon may be my GOTY, I still have to see how I like the post-game, i'm at the end of the main game I think right now. Been having so much fun though.
