What a hhhaaarrrddddd band name, Venom Prison

 

Do yourself a favor and listen. They are worthy of the name.

Also, how have you never heard of them?! They are getting a ton of buzz.

 

Venom prison is so hit or miss for me. Sometimes I can barely finish a song others it's all I want to listen to.

As per usual, I think it's me that's the issue, not the band.

Wicca Phase, Frank Carter and Angel Du$t being on that list is weird...

 

Nice to see Brutus getting some love!

 

Angel Du$t’s “Bang My Drum” is the song of the year according to my kids. Even my 18-month old sings along!

 

it's revolver. their entire existence is weird at this point. they went through a weird "reboot" a couple years ago where they started to cater to more underground stuff and change their image after their hottest chicks in metal/edgy phase in the past...but this list still reeks of some vestiges of that.

 

Bang My Drum is a hell of a catchy song. I think it's deserving of a spot in at least the top 5 songs of the year.

 

It's on my list for sure, even though I've heard it 85,000 times. It's the first song on our kids' "Dance Party" playlist.

 

Fire in the Mountains Festival just announced Enslaved as their headliner. Also they are going to be the curator in a vein similar to what Roadburn Festival does. I am curious to see how this year unfolds!

 

The blood incantation album may be my AOTY

 

Yeah any list that puts Slipknot and Korn albums above Blood Incantation is patently bad
