so WWE used NXT to put over a fake DX reunion lol

 

feels like we've watched the same episode of Raw, SDL, and NXT for the past 3 weeks

 

Imagine fucking up the belt that looked the best from the start...that Miz literally turned into the biggest belt in the company for a period of time

Off Cagematch, he's wrestled in tags and singles matches on house shows on basically every tour. Also did KO/Sami matches for some of the South America tour. I checked because I assumed he was injured and they werent saying when he didnt show up on NXT; but he's been working every house show for a while. So, unless he's working singles matches by taking one move and losing...he's healthy and they just arent using him to wrestle regularly...

 

Anytime I put on WWE main roster tv on, which isn't often these days at all, everything is so bland and corny. It's.so god damn bad. Everything. Except KO and D Bry. Ok so almost everything.

I mean I know it's Baron Corbin but goddamn at putting old stars over new talent once again - why give Shawn Michaels and HHH that spot when you could have Dunne or Ciampa or Dominik do that?

Heel and Face go out the door this time of yeah; they basically had Shayna play face in some segments, etc.

But also, this. I wish any of this mattered come next Wednesday, cause they have teased some really interesting stuff that will never happen

 

the new IC belt would be so much more palatable if it were more matte and less sheen. looked terrible on TV, the details dont pop at all

 

these triple threat survivor series elimination matches are going to be the most clustery of fucks. im expecting a lot of visibly prearranged spots and shit. cant call it in the ring with 15 guys cycling out in sets of two or three

Same. The build hasn’t been anywhere near as bad as some on here have made it out to be. Sure, maybe could have done with the mass brawls being left to the go home shows of each brand. But I love a brawl, so Il was ok with it!

Hell yeah Omega has a long interview with Meltzer and Jim Valley. I really enjoy Jim Valley. Looking forward to hearing him talk about alot especially his take on his Moxley match.

 

Oh god. Did Cole say "IT'S TONI TIME" when he saw Toni Storm??

 

Kenny said the Phoenix Splash onto the planks was one of the worst bumps he's ever taken in his life. Everything else in the match he said wasn't that terrible.

 

Kenny said he's gonna make sure the AEW video game is the greatest wrestling game of all time and wants it to be on switch LETS GO

 

The build has been as terrible as everyone has made it out to be. Sorry, but mass T Shirt brawls are lazy as fuck booking and they have no stakes for any of the matches outside of the two title matches. Hell we don't even have the mens NXT Team yet either. It wouldn't have been hard to throw some stakes in for either War Games match or any of the brand warfare matches. Last minute, lazy ass booking for one of the "big" shows of the year is embarrassing especially considering how much they built for Crown Jewel.

That being said, these cards are good on paper and I'm hoping both shows deliver.
