I preferred it. Was a nice little warm up just coming out the gate with shake it out and a few others. Then the encore had the debut of The Maze and a few great closers

 

Ages ago, when they’d play The Only One live, Andy would play the first portion of the song very soft and slow by himself and then the band would kick in near the end.

I pray that’s how the show starts.

I fucking love that version. They did it here (Sydney) on the SM tour and then I tweeted them the day of the Cope show asking them to play "the epic version of the only one" and the did and I was stoked haha

Andy is notoriously bad at remembering his lyrics.

 

Well, between MO, RAGC and Bad Books he has released 11 full albums of material + EPs and several other unreleased songs.

When I saw him perform as RAGC, he had a lyric/music sheet on the stage with him. I think he had it another time I saw him as just solo Andy as well.

 

I believe it came out about a decade ago that he had written 30-some-odd "albums" for his wife. The man is insane. I'm not criticizing when I say he doesn't remember his lyrics but it's almost inevitable that at every MO show, he will be improvising some lines. Usually it's awesome.

 

And he probably doesn't listen to the albums as often as we all do lol

 

This is an all-time bad obnoxious crowd. Few things can ruin a concert experience like dumbasses yelling non-sense every quiet moment they get.

 

Guessing Live at Soho is coming out Black Friday. Then nothing else until the single for LP6 in 2020
