    Poch to Arsenal

Spurs sacking Poch to bring in Mourinho would be some kinda crazy

  3. This is why he's gone. I just hate that 4.5 years of great football was quickly forgotten and he wasn't given the chance to fix the problems we currently have.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Mourinho coming in seems likely and is also my hell

the problems with this team isn’t on Poch. It’s refusing to transfer players that are super unhappy, because it’s not enough “value”. The team was due for an actual rebuild but they refused to do so because of the new stadium.

Mourinho on that budget would only end one way. I am totally here for it

AVB is doing well at Marseille……just saying

  8. Bringing a personality like Mourinho to club with several unhappy players and an entirely unhappy fanbase is a recipe for disaster.

This Amazon doc show is gonna be insane.

    hmmm

I know. But he deserved till the end of the season.

  10. God damnit, it's going to be Mourinho. He isn't going to turn it down. He's already said he'd be interested several weeks ago.

If Valverde is leaving I wouldn’t mind a punt with Poch.

  14. Ultimately, Poch should've been chosen over the players. Levy ended the statement with "we have a talented squad" and "we need to be re-energized". Poch has been calling for a rebuild for over a year. And we are seeing why he wanted one. Some of the players grew tired of him saying things like that and eventually things spiraled. But like I said, Poch should be chosen over most of these players. He is the reason we've been mildly successful recently.

  15. Poch has said there are two clubs he would never coach at: Arsenal and Barca lol

  16. Stolen from twitter...

    Tottenham are …
-Winless in their last 5 PL games
-Winless in their last 12 PL away games
-The Premier League side with the most losses in 2019 (18)

I don't think Levy is an idiot. He may be cheap but he isn't an idiot. I will just tell myself that he got the sense from players that they wanted him out. Like I said above, I would've kept Poch and told those players to kick rocks but I don't think it's that easy from his point of view.

    I hate everything.

imagine turning down a top 3 job in soccer because you played for espanyol of all teams. as an Argentine you’d think coaching Messi would trump anything else. Simeone even said something along that line semi-recently

    hmmm

    Who do you want?

  19. Yeah I don’t know lol I’m with you I think he’d be dumb to turn down an offer from them. But if you read his book he makes it clear he had, and still has, a real connection with Espanyol. He says those were the most important years of his career. It might just be weird for him. I don’t know.

What’s strange is that he’s taken Spurs to Barca’s training grounds before and I think he’s also been to the ground separately to watch the youth teams practice. And he goes to his house in Barcelona nearly every international break. So maybe he’d change his mind.

  20. I don’t know tbh

I haven’t given it much thought because I’ve already accepted it’ll be Mourinho

I’m gonna be so sad when Poch wins the league with another team

  22. I hope he goes to Bayern

  23. If we hire Mourinho, get ready for Dier to start every match. They are somehow really close.
