This sentiment is exactly why I think a stadium tour with these bands might be too ambitious. Playing the summer amphitheater circuit I can totally see...but shoving 50,000 people into a stadium to see Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Poison? That just feels like a recipe to lose money. Unless my finger on the pulse of reunions people are clamoring for is completely off.

Feel dirty just reading this. Hair metal/glam metal was really something else...

The Anthrax/Megadeth/Motley Crue show was actually way back in 2000, but even 20 years later, I don't think they're filling stadiums. Without Crue, I don't think they could hardly do amphitheaters. It'll be interesting to see how it does.

There are four shows I have lined up over the next two weeks but I for sure can't go to all of them, so I'll take a poll. Which one would YOU go to? All of them are on weeknights.

    1. Nile/Terrorizer
    2. Gatecreeper/Exhumed
    3. Morbid Angel/Watain/Incantation
    4. Power Trip/High on Fire/Creeping Death

I've seen the headliner of every one of these already, some of them twice (Nile, Power Trip), as a disclaimer.

If I could only pick one it’d be Power Trip, High On Fire, and Creeping Death.

Nile is probably my favorite metal band tbh, but Power Trip does put on a hell of a show. Wish they'd put out a new album soon!

I think it might do pretty well. Crue sells out arenas as does Leppard.

def leppard's first four albums are essential. they flatline after that but anyone who says "let it go" or "rock brigade" or "photograph" or "animal" aren't jams is a fuckin liar .

As far EOTY lists go, my number one is definitely BASK: III. Stay tuned for a more comprehensive list.

They are just doing other things in their lives that are far more sustainable. But it would be cool for them to do a tour on that album.

I think I was the only one who batted an eye when it was posted here that Bleed The Sky was back, but I just saw that they're playing here in January with motherfuckin Skinlab and I am STOOOOKED

The new Skinlab album is actually pretty good! They sound like they both would be very cool to see in a live setting.
