I caught a glimpse of the girl today at a table but I decided against saying hi cuz idk what to say. I don't want to come off as pushy if she's not interested, but something also could've come up. I'm not entirely sure. When he's with me for the week, we have tons of fun playing, cooking, we do these activity book things to learn to write, etc. All good. Every once and in a while, if I tell him no, he whines "I miss my mommy". I found out that when he is at his moms, it's daily, sometimes even hourly. Last week she called me crying cause "she can't take it". She said he's constantly asking for me. She thinks he's trying to manipulate her, but who knows. Thanks for asking though.

 

Yeah that's tough man. My parents divorced around the same age so I can kinda relate a bit. There's were definitely times where I'd miss the other parent but it definitely gets better as the years pass and kids get older and pick up on more things. Just gotta do your best to not talk bad about your ex around him so he doesn't get animosity ya know? I'm sure part of that is also his age cuz my son says that he misses his grandparents sometimes when we get on to him at home.
