That’s The Game was the hardest I’ve laughed at anything all season so that’s something at least. Great concept, great execution. Chris Redd is hilarious and what more needs to be said about Kenan that hasn’t already been said a million times.

I also thought the pilots sketch and the Sara Lee sketch were good. Childbirth was decent also.

I thought the monologue was really charming.

Popeye's was funny, currently sorta enjoying Joan?

Childbirth is one of those sketches that's kind of funny but just goes nowhere. There's one kind of joke and they do it like five times, no escalation, no reveal, no change up, just repetition and then it ends. This is the kind of thing that a show like I Think You Should Leave avoids, where more characters turn out to be insane instead of just two people surrounded by straight men. Its a bummer, a waste of a premise. Same exact problem with the pilots sketch, tho that was a little funnier at its core.

Kyle on Update was good, Sara Lee was good, Bowen Yang is great at this, and That's the Game was a very solid sketch. How many more bombs does Che get before they drop him? Update just seems like its dragging.

His delivery of “I’d rather drink my own piss” was the hardest I laughed all night.

 

That was great! I wish all of Kyle's character work was as alive

guess that wasn’t the exposure they thought they were paying for lol

What are the odds the sketch will be pulled from YouTube like the SafeLight sketch?

 

YES!!!

 

I’d say higher than 50%, especially since there’s precedent for it

 

Outside of the cold open and Joan, I thought this episode was actually pretty solid. Musical performances were great too

 

So I've only watched a few SNL skits here and there, but the ones I've seen are hilarious. Anyone have recommendations of which ones to watch so I don't get lost in the rabbit hole of Youtube?
