Ha thats great. Just did the latest elusive target mission this weekend.

I'm waiting for the whole game to be released. So how does each level work exactly?

 

The episodic model of Hitman has worked so well for that game, keeps me coming back every couple weeks and gives me time to explore/perfect each level in a way I wouldn't if I had immediate access to the next one. I look forward to killing Gary Busey.

 

The physical set for Hitman is up for preorder on Amazon right now for $38.99. For prime members it only comes to around $32. Very tempted to preorder this.

 

for PS4 physical only though. PC, digital and XB1 is still full price

 

Each level so far has had two main targets that you must kill. There's multiple different opportunities to kill each. Completing in game challenges unlocks new starting points/costumes/equipment drop locations. Once you've completed the main mission there are escalation missions in which there are new targets to kill and specific parameters in which to kill them. Each getting more and more difficult.

I can't remember the last game I was as excited for as I am with Setsuna. I still really wish it was getting a physical release, and maybe it will later on down the road. But wow I just cannot wait to play this week!

 

I'm happy that after 2 years of waiting I'll finally be able to play Hyper Light Drifter on my console.

 

If Hitman was $38 on Xbox One I'd have preordered. Sucks

 

Today I start the process of building my first gaming PC, hopefully this goes well. My goal is to get it done by end of august so I can play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided when it comes out.

Yeah I normally wait for all the episodes to be out for episodic games, but since the story to hitman is so secondary to the action and the episodic release schedule allowing you to get more distant out of maps you would have otherwise only visited once is very smart.

@lightning13 The only thing you'll miss that is significant by waiting for all the episodes to come out are the aforementioned Elusive Targets which are only available in a 72 hour window.

I wouldn't mind buying DR1 on PC if it's a good port.

 

The Fallout 3 quest Agatha's Song is really fucking good. Really, the backstories behind all the Vaults are so good, but Vault 92 especially, damn.
