  1. What a weird quote. Dude won POTY and a league title at Leicester. Now he's a bench player for City. I get wanting to get higher wages and play for the big glamorous clubs but let's not act like your time at Leicester was a waste.

Was he not part of the Leicester squad who had quite an exciting run in the CL as well?

  3. Yes, he was. Outside of the domestic cups, he has achieved basically the same things at City as he did at Leicester. Except at City he has way less of an impact and they'd have likely won even if they didn't have him.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

He’s actually been very good for City this year. Most players struggles to adjust to the system pep runs. It took Bernardo Silva a year to adjust and look at the season he had last year.

  5. Yeah, I agree. Just think it's weird to imply Leicester wasted his prime years when he was very successful during his time there.

  6. Why does Danny Rose feel the need to constantly do interviews trashing the team?

Fuck that guy. He’s been awful the past 2 seasons. All he does is cause drama and talk shit about the club.

What I've just seen doesn't involve him trashing the team at all. He seems to have a pop at Levy, but is very positive about Poch. Didn't even mention the team?

  8. Trashing was a bad word to use. But he constantly causes drama. This is the 3rd or 4th time he’s been in the papers saying things about Spurs that leads to drama. He obviously has the right to do that but it’s so annoying.

  9. This is pretty much how I feel. And this isn’t the first time he’s done something like this.

I am no fan of Rose but Spurs clearly have an issue with contracts and players running them down, though I think rose is a different case to the other high profile ones, he seems to be pro-team and anti-board, which I thought is something Spurs fans would get behind.

  11. I’m not really anti-board. The club has grown so much under Levy. He has his faults but he’s certainly been more good than bad. My problem with Rose is that he is always making these things public. He is saying he likes Poch but how is coming out with this interview helping Poch? It doesn’t help the situation at all.

I don’t know if players are intentionally running down their contracts. Toby had a 25m buyout clause and not a single team tried to sign him. It’s been reported no club made an official bid for Eriksen. What is Levy suppose to do there? What he can be blamed for was not preparing for this sooner. Not making any signings in 2018 was survivable short-term. But now that we have 3 starters with contracts running out we are in a very tough spot. But it’s fixable. And Poch is the guy to be here while we rebuild if he wants it. Levy should realize that the team’s struggles right now aren’t Poch’s fault and I don’t think another manager would be doing anything noticeably better.

I take all your points and you are better suited and far more hooked into Spurs goings-on then I am so I won't refute, except I think they should have actively found a buyer for Eriksen, which would have really been in their best interest. It may have been tough cause you presume he was holding out for a movie to Real which was never coming but I assume for the right price a team would have moved on him, im still kind of shocked United never made an official bid for him, though these days a lot of times teams wouldn't officially register a bid unless they've had assurances it'll be accepted

  13. yeah I find it hard to believe no one made a bid for him. I’m assuming he’ll be sold in January for dirt cheap though. I’m more surprised about Toby tbh. I know he’s older but 25m is not a lot in today’s market. I thought he’d be gone for sure. Toby and Eriksen’s wages staying on the books might have prevented another new signing or two in the summer.

Wenger appointed technical director of FIFA, expect some serious match fixing in our favor once we get Emery outta here

His schtick gets old at times but that is pretty funny lol. Crazy how he (supposedly) says he would prefer to join Bologna rather than Milan or Napoli now.

IDK if anyone has been keeping up with the Napoli situation but it is getting more crazy by the day. Insigne, Allan and Zielinski's families have all fled Naples due to fears over attacks on their homes by ultras! Allan's home already broken into (while his wife & children were right there), Zielinski's car vandalised, a large number of the players have hired bodyguards. Think there will be a lot of people leaving the club in January!

All of y’all know how I feel about Italy, but maybe we don’t need Serie A anymore. Between the racists and the ultras...yikes.

I don't think it's that we don't need Serie A, it's that football could do without ultras.

Could do without owners too. The situation all started because of the Napoli owner thinking he knows better than 3x CL winner Carlo Ancelotti when it comes to managing a squad.

Thierry Henry is now the coach of Montreal. Landon Donovan is now the couch of San Diego.
