Really liking HZD at the moment, most engaging open world I’ve played since Witcher 3.

Kinda Funny just had an episode talking about what they think are the most iconic PlayStation games of each system and they said HZD was one for the PS4. When I think of the PS4 my mind doesn't go to that game. I never beat it so I won't talk about quality, but it's not something I really hear about or see a bunch of merch for in Best Buy or GameStop etc. It might be great, but iconic just seems like a stretch.

 

I’m sure it was a stand-out game but idk about iconic either. I know I didn’t particularly enjoy it but that’s not saying much considering how much of a cynical closed-minded prick I am. I’m struggling to come up with an alternative though.

 

God of war 2018 will be what the ps4 is remembered for

Just read that the lead of FromSoftware said Bloodborne 2 is out of his hands and it’s up to Sony. Makes sense. But that was a huge exclusive for them and I can’t see them skimping out on it with PS5 around the corner. Surprised it’s not a launch title tbf, but with Elden Ring in development I know that’s a pipe dream. Still - I think it’s almost guaranteed to be a PS5 title given the success of the original.

 

It's definitely going to happen at some point. From Software are still contracted to make 3 more games for Sony.

 

Just finished for the night, got to level 9! Really enjoying the world building and combat. However, the controls of riding a machine are not that great.

 

Didn’t know this. So this...doesn’t include Elden Ring? That’s a multiplatform right?

 

Their contract was for 5 exclusives. Elden Ring is multiplatform so doesn't count.
