im really really not into people shaming others for caring about celebrity news, especially when it's celebrities doing it. one can care and pay attention to multiple things.

 

I said something to that effect on twitter, but I didn't mean for it to be taken that way.

More in the don't get too invested in it way by taking sides and attacking others sort of petty shit normally seen on twitter.

What happened to when she "cautioned him against releasing a song with such a misogynist message"? Per her first statement?

 

yeah, she didn't hear the song and didn't know the line till everyone else did. But she told him he could use whatever he wanted for the song and that's what he did.

I still very much enjoy Mean.

 

The lyrics of mean remind me of when me and my sister would get in slap fights when I was like 7. Except the part about the bar and the football game cause that'd be weird to say to my sister.

 

I feel like the smartest thing for her to do from this point is to ignore the issue going forward and not write songs about it. Bad Blood + video is still the most embarrassing thing she's done. As much as I like Kanye, him and Katy are nothing compared to Taylor.

 

I'd either take this route or I'd poke fun at the situation. Kanye has said and done some bizarre things throughout his career, so right or wrong, I'm not too sure why these things come as a surprise to people.

 

I don't remember her denying the convo took place but she for sure downplayed what she knew and lied about what was said. But of course nothing excuses that he even wrote the lyrics in the first place and then released that creepy video. idk how anyone could be 100% for or against one or the other in this situation.


Maybe it's a longshot to be concerned, but I hope they don't use her being caught lying on tape as a reason to go after her when she has to give that deposition about the dude who groped her.

 

Honestly..I'm more (I don't know the word to use really) appalled at the Khloe, Chloe thing. Turns out that pic wasn't her but it's sad to see someone who was repeatedly bashed in the media about her weight bully someone that young just to be an asshole. I mean we've all said stupid shit at that age. We should be getting better when it comes to women sticking together in 2016 and stuff like this is still happening and it's really disheartening.

 

Khloe is terrible. I don't think any blow is too low for her when she thinks she's defending her family and it's messed up. Kourtney remains the only one I can stand

Yeah that's what I was referring to when I said she lied. But she doesn't deny there was a phone call, she just lied about what the phone call entailed. I don't think she ever flat out said a phone call never took place

 

Yeah I don't think she said it didn't happen either, I mostly posted it because I know everyone's foggy on the exact verbatim statements and claims and whatnot. It's been a looooot of moving goalposts for months now haha.
