I don't understand the fighting games much but like a few of the streamers I follow are super into evo and went so that was cool to watch for a bit.

right now I'm watching funhaus lets play of Overwatch and they make me happy. Overwatch lets play in general are great and I wish there was more besides Funhaus/Game Grumps that I could watch.

 

Haha, plan to watch that let's play tonight. James' videos of the Overwatch PC beta is what got me interested in the game in the first place.

 

Funhaus and @lightning13 are the ones that got me interested in Overwatch and now I'm addicted.

Oh cool! I'll definitely save that video for another night. I tend to only remember James when I think of separate videos, haha.

 

James is the only one that actively post videos so it makes sense. Him and Elyse are also super hilarious and that puppet series is great.

 

R Mika is such a bad ass character. Fudo putting in work.

 

Oh, they've done more than 1? He updates so infrequently, or at least inconsistently, that I don't remember to check frequently enough. I liked the first video.

 

He has at least 4 videos involving puppets. He also has a weird play through of a game called Potato Thriller which is pretty good.

 

Haha. Interesting. Will check out. I first found out he did videos on his own separate from funhaus when he and Elyse were doing an Until Dawn playthrough.

 

I don't think I've seen that one. I only really watched the Achievement Hunter play through. I'll have to check it out though. His random gameplay videos are pretty great.

 

It was interesting to see how others went through the game and to see him more chill and lowkey for the first time. Otherwise I've only really watched his Overwatch videos and the first puppet one.

 

My brother hooked up the PS2 again and he played through Megaman Legends again. Dude loves the game so much. He beat it on hard mode and if you do that you unlock easy mode which is really weird. He's basically just running through everything with ease.

also I still wish I could play Megaman Legends 2.

 

Still hoping they release the X collection on current consoles.

 

Finished Fallout 3 main quest at around level 22 because I was occupied by a bunch of side quests I wanted to revisit. The first time I played through the game was at least five years ago. Now I'm finally getting started on the DLC for the first time. Finished The Pitt at level 24. It started out great but went downhill once I got to the arena fights. And I tend to like arena fights, the ones in the Borderlands games are awesome, and even Oblivion had some great matches. Maybe it's because the arena itself was too small and I reached The Pitt's when my combat skills were already maxed. Anyway, from then on the story just kind of went downhill. Or maybe it was just the shift in atmosphere, which was wonderful early on. Once I got my inventory back, the feeling of helplessness was gone, and there was no more being undercover, I was the same badass motherfucker from the Capital Wasteland sent in to wreck shit. Soon after, lots and lots of enemies came at me all at once, and that's when the story didn't seem to matter anymore.It may be because I'm still playing on Normal with maxed skills, but the hardest part about this DLC is figuring out what to do with all the loot, since AFAIK there's no merchant. Pretty average DLC.

edit: The more I read about it, the more I realize the huge grey area in the moral decisions presented. Since my characters are always goody-two-shoes, the other path didn't really occur to me because my gut reaction is to always free the slaves, but people have made really good rationalizations for both paths.

Looks like those of you who never got to play Dead Rising because you didn't own a 360 might get your chance. Just a warning: The game is very dated! I hope they end up remastering it with this potential cross-platform jump.

would buy a 1&2 remaster day one. great games. 3 was such a disappointment.

 

Oh I LOVED Dead Rising 3. The bosses in it were by some of the best they have done. "TIME TO PURGE!!!"

 

i hated it lol my favourite part was the time management and sense of urgency. 3 was just a janky zombie smash game imo.

 

Talk to anyone that has done the 7 day Survivor Achievement in Dead Rising 1 and they might disagree, lol. I do agree somewhat but I don't think it changed the game at all in my opinion. It is still Dead Rising.
