Working with boomers has really hammered home how most of them just don’t give a shit about what anyone else says and they just want to hear themselves talk. I’m typing this because I walked into the break room and one of the ladies I worked with said “good morning how are you?” And before I could even finish saying “I’m fine how about yourself?” she says “did you know dollar general isn’t going to sell clothes anymore?” and before I could even acknowledge that she says “the check engine light on my car is on, do you know much about cars? Can you fix it? I’ll get with you later and we’ll check on it” and then just walked out the fucking room. What the fuck
