the thing is i know full well if they just had any ol generic dude trying to sound like Chino singing this wouldn't be nearly as interesting. so hopefully it'll grow on me soon lol

yes yes it is - one of my favorite DW releases in the last few years

Entertainment is a top 10 song of 2019 - just reminds me of that dreamy yet sinister tone bands like Smashing Pumpkins and even the Cranberries would churn out in the mid 90s

 

Some god tier tones on this album. And the drums sound phenomenal. I’m hooked.

 

I know it was a pre-release single so nothing new here but the guitar solo that ends "You're Gonna Hate..." is such amazing Kerry McCoy/Deafheaven vibes - this record is so fucking good y'all

 

DW is absolutely killing it with their recent signings/releases

 

Might have to buy this. Love the hat in the DW store too.

 

yup and that's how you become such a legendary/influential label - diversifying your roster and not just sticking to one style. Deathwish, The Flenser, and Topshelf Records are the best at this.
