The set tonight was shockingly similar to my ultimate Setlist I posted

Take off the first two songs from that setlist and I think they hit 16-17 of the remaining 20 songs...

Didn't they play Brothers almost every night during last summer's run? At least they did in Raleigh

I feel like they played Nightmare at every show on this tour except the two times I caught them - Pittsburgh and New York. I wanna hear it live just cause

Yeah tonight was fucking awesome. Haven't played close attention to their setlists other than hearing 1996 had been played, so I didn't expect to get Quiet Things during the encore. Play Crack The sky sounded fantastic too

I love Brothers but would have preferred 1996. That being said, Brothers live was definitely a little emotional. Or maybe I was just caught up in the moment.

Hearing the crowd sing along to songs like Sic Transit and the end of Jesus and etc was great. A lot of energy and people bouncing around to I Am A Nightmare which was cool too, I'm glad the fans are responding to it despite some of the hate it got here.

Tautou into Sic Transit Gloria was awesome. As was the Tautou parts in You Won't Know. Brothers was awesome live as well. Fucking incredible show tonight.

Seeing Brand New last night just gets me all the more excited for their new record. They were so good. Tautou was an awesome surprise (and Brothers). Enjoyed Modest Mouse as well.

    forbidden chalice.

Sic Transit Gloria was one of the most joyful yet cathartic experiences of the whole show for me. It's not even a huge song for me, yet seeing everyone around smiling and jumping around, half of choosing to opt to proceed to sing "up the stairs..." while the other half choosing to continue Jesse's train of lyricism, leading up to everyone screaming the climax of the chorus was such an pure and beautiful moment.

The only thing that really compared was the first YEAH of Sowing Season. I think I screamed the loudest I ever have in my life. There was also a very heartfelt moment during Luca where it was quiet and the people around me kind of just nodded, acknowledging the inevitable, destructive release that would follow. People telling others to "watch out" or "grab the railing" to help them be mindful of what the mosh pit might become. It was great, I felt like a community.

However, there was this one drunk asshole who kept trying to grope girls in the pit. Once the person was identified, the security guards kept an eye on his behavior.

Yeah I need to know the answer to this too. I think this and Handcuffs are the only ones I've never seen them play. Wish I was able to get to the album shows

My wife got a few short vids. Tautou and the Tautou part of You Won't Know + the end, as well the end of Play Crack the Sky. I'll get her to upload them.

The band doesn't play Not the Sun because they've struggled to replicate the sound in a live setting. That was their rationale before the fall 2007 tour when they debuted it. I wish they'd try again. I'd argue they've never been stronger live.

As for Handcuffs, it just doesn't generate much reaction from the crowd. At least that's my take on it. It's another song that has suffered from lack of crowd participation and enthusiasm, along with the likes of Bed and Daisy.

How do you know this about the song Daisy? I thought they've only tried it out like 3 times?
