This Mavi album from last week is bloody great. I assume that those that know, know. But if you’re a fan of Mike or Earl, this dude is great.

 

Yeah, probably should have mentioned that when I described the show lol. There's a really cool scene in the Alright episode where Questlove and a couple other guys recreate the beat

There's talking heads from relevant people from the stories too. The Kanye episode has John Legend, Rhymefest, J Ivy, GLC, etc, and the Kendrick episode has Pharrell, Sounwave, and what I'm pretty sure are archive footage interviews with Kendrick but I've never seen them before. A lot of Black Lives Matter figures too because they focus on that a decent amount

Giving it a proper listen when I get in later. Looking forward to it, Premier is easily top 5 producers of all time.

 

I’m hyped. The last one was one of the best albums of the decade.

 

Yeah, Wiki about to test my top 10 AOTY list. Haven't actually listened to any of the singles yet, but I know Madlib did one beat, so excited for the rest.
