At my last desk job, it was bad. I was fairly secluded and I wouldn't really see or hear anyone for most of the day so it was pretty easy to pass out, but I got caught by a supervisor more than once. Luckily I never actually "slept" - It was more like I'd start fading and then about 15 seconds in, I'd do the jumpy thing and come to. I'm pretty sure I have sleep apnea, or some kind of sleep disorder, that I really should do something about, but that's another story.

At my current job, it's a little better because it's an open office, which kinda sucks, but there are people walking around/making noise so I'm more alert most of the day.

Yeah, they can be intense.

I am trying to get away from sugar and energy drinks period, but I've moved to Reign and Bang because they're sugar free but don't taste terrible like a lot of diet stuff, but they have a shitload of caffeine (300mg per can) - I'm pretty immune to caffeine (though my insides probably aren't) but I usually split one with a co-worker. If I were to drink the whole thing, it would for sure be too much.
