I've been thinking about getting tested for ADD.
Is it even worth diagnosing this late in life?

Would I have to take drugs every day?

 

Increased focus, uh the ability to finish tasks? I don't know. I'm not a doctor nor have I been diagnosed--but ADHD (ADD isn't the term used anymore) can be super disruptive to your life and getting a handle on it is always a good thing.

Again, don't know, but probably? Is that an issue?

I thought ADD and ADHD were different things.
I mean, I'm not hyperactive, just can't focus.

I did too, but I randomly saw something about the phase out of the term "ADD" so just passing that random knowledge on.
Maybe some low-dose medicine could help with that, but you'd have to see a doctor or maybe a psychiatrist to get diagnosed/a med subscription. But if you really think you might genuinely have it see someone (if you can afford it/have insurance).
