Well that’s disappointing

 

Some on twitter seem to think there's been some sort of successful military operation to kill some high level "jihadist".

Sounds to me like Trump is just gonna try to distract from the impeachment stuff by trying to take an Osama bin Laden-sized victory lap on killing some dude none of us have ever heard of. THen we'll get a WaPo story on Wednesday about how pissed Trump is that his speech on killing the terrorist isn't getting more positive news coverage over the impeachment.

Man Trump is gonna be pissed when the sunday morning shows only spend like 20-25 minutes talking about this and the rest of the time talking about impeachment

 

Looks like we got the leader of ISIS.

 

So many movies, especially superhero movies, have this pitfall of “the villain’s goals are actually correct ideologically but since they’re the villain we need to make them an objectively bad person or have them try the dumbest plan ever even if it makes no sense for them to do so”

 

ideologically correct is an oxymoron. But I agree a villain is usually someone who thinks he knows whats best for everyone.

 

Kind of like Thanos.
