This wad a big bag of meh. Moments I like and a whole lot more I don't but I'll probably revisit a few tracks. Probably not too heavily though

Chick-fil-A song is easily his worst ever. I also think this would be better without "God Is" and the verse on "Water." The rest isn't terrible. I enjoy the instrumentals, but the vocal mix is so wack at times.

And yeah, he still sucks

that's what I thought. I actually enjoy that song, as simple as it is, but holy shit those lyrics are lame.

I haven't really enjoyed anything he's done since MBDTF. Since this is so short, figured I'd give it a shot. Meh. He doesn't have it anymore. Him being buddies with Ch(tr)ump and constantly announcing deadlines himself only to miss them is some clown shit.

 

This one is the best, hands down.

well this certainly isn't the disaster I was expecting, but it's also nowhere near amazing. Solid beats, solid song structure, surprisingly good rapping for the most part, but yeah... lyrically... not great

 

Before I waste 27 minutes listening to this did the beat at 1:00 make it on the album and if so which track is it?

This made me remember that apparently a version of Lift Yourself with real lyrics exists, this would have been a great album to put that on

 

Double post but the album updated, the mix sounds better on a bunch of songs now, particularly Follow God and Use This Gospel

I haven’t listened yet, but I sure could go for a burger and some Kirk Franklin right about now. I don’t deny I’m an old head though. That being said I don't have high expectations.
