I forget that it's actually on the Starz channel on Prime here. I forget Prime channels are a thing. I love using my dad's account lol

So yeah, Haunt has its issues but was a blast. Great character designs, gnarly kills, pretty tense, triggered some of my phobias, and psychologically twisted.

Watched The Wind today and though it could be stronger in terms of its narrative and script what is there was nonetheless effective enough to be engrossing that has good performances all round, great production, has a constant sense of unease and the mix of frontier western and horror makes for a unique experience.

Here’s what my next week is looking like:

    1) Haunt
    2) Brightburn
    3) Child’s Play (2019)
    4) Crawl
    5) Us

    Never seen any of them.

Decided to knock Crawl off my list first tonight. Had a really good time with it. Lots of fun, and so glad they didn’t do the dog dirty like I thought they were going to.

Not sure if I’ll revisit this one again in the future, don’t see much replay value, but it’s a fun flick for what it is.

  14. Rewatched 1408--I guess I'm still on that Stephen King adaptation train. I love that it goes completely bonkers, and Cusack matches its intensity at every turn, while still delivering a powerful, emotional performance where it counts. The DVD has a different ending than the one I saw; I didn't know they filmed more than one.

The new AYAOTD tied everything up nicely. I really loved how creepy it managed to be and how fleshed out the characters were in such a short time. I hope it does well enough that they decide to bring this cast back in the traditional format.

Just watched Haunt and thought it was awesome. Super fun and way more tense than I thought it would be.

The Lighthouse was cool. I personally think it was too dark for it’s own good. Great performances from Dafoe, and Pattinson.

I’m in Vegas with my gf so I’m stuck watching whatever is on TV. Scyfy was playing Saw the final chapter and even on tv, that movie is pretty brutal. My gf asked me to change it after the Chester Bennington scene. Also watched Cujo today. Never seen it before but that movie is pretty weak

Wait. Chester Bennington is in it? That’s wild.

Watched Dead Heat tonight that is just pure schlock that just so happens have a budget behind it as the film throws together comedy, buddy cop, action and zombie genres together with a random cast from Treat Williams to Vincent Price and even Shane Black turns up but I found it really entertaining thanks to the really good action, several laughs, mostly great practical effects and the fact it clearly isn't taking itself seriously.

Taking a poll here. Which of these should I watch tomorrow after work?

    Haunt
    Child’s Play (2019)

I’m incapable of making decisions for myself.
