I had to do those classes for my confirmation, which talk about a waste of a Sunday morning. They also said we would get bagels every week and they gave us hostess coffee cakes and I have never forgiven them and neither should the lord

 

Ugh. Classes were the worst. I used to have to do that up until like high school on some school night. Didn't need a sponsor for confirmation tho.

As an adult I found out my mom wasn't particularly religious but went because my dad did, and he's also hardly religious. I guess it was just something instilled in him from growing up.
