The biggest release this week relevant to those of us that grew up in the late 90’s is probably the new one from Good Charlotte. I’m actually a little surprised I enjoyed it as much as I have. I’m going to give that Needtobreathe album a spin as well since I liked the interview we did with them on the site. If you hit read more you can see all the releases we have in our calendar for the week. I was planning on listening to the new GC this morning but it's not up on Spotify yet from what I can see. Still, I have heard good things and enjoyed the singles mostly so I will look forward to listening. I will try NEEDTOBREATHE as I am a fan of their previous work, but I couldn't really get into any of the new singles unfortunately.

Also my favs Parkway Drive released a deluxe version of 'Ire' today with 2 new tracks and a reworked track, wooh!

I'm probably missing something. I feel like there was a release I was looking forward to this week.

Definitely listening to the Michael Kiwanuka record. Also new singles from Zhu, Banks, Grouplove, Kehlani, and DJ Snake.

I'm sure it'll be horrible, but the Steven Tyler solo record kind of interests me based on growing up on Aerosmith. Will definitely listen to the new Good Charlotte. Is that Simon Neil from Biffy as the guest vocal? Just added it on Apple Music and saw a guest vocal from Simon Neil on track 6

Michael kiwanuka, Juliet Simms, and needtobreathe for sure. Some good singles floating out there from young the giant, descendants, wilco, jagwar ma. Some sort of Ghostbusters compilation that I'll check out.

However, today is all Relient k

GC isn't on Amazon Prime either. Ugh. Two services I pay for that couldn't secure a new release stream.

Hmmm there's also a single from Andrew McMahon/Lindsey Sterling for Petes Dragon. Not particularly exciting but cool I guess

  14. GC isn't available on Google Play Music either, and the release date is listed as 7/22 on Amazon. Looks like it might be another week before I can check that one out.

Loving the new Good Charlotte album. Going to check out Needtobreathe and Dirty Heads. The new Lindsey Stirling single with Andrew McMahon is really good.

the GC album says it's 'Exclusively at Best Buy' on CD, did BB get a week advance on streaming platforms maybe? It's up on iTunes, too...

Dirty Heads were phenomenal when I saw them last week. They're going to be the next biggest frat bro-rock band (in the same way Sublime and 311 are). Not knocking them at all but their fanbase is just annoying.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like there are two bonus tracks on the Best Buy version. There's also the one bonus track on iTunes.

Really enjoying this GC album more than I expected. Only listened to 40oz Dream before the full album dropped today. Wasn't huge on that song but I've run through the album once and like it.
