I liked The Visitor quite a bit. Carnival is awesome, but Crazy Horse really does bring out the best in Neil

I think the majority of my fav Neil records are with Crazy Horse. On The Beach (Probably my overall fav of his), Ragged Glory, Psychedelic Pill, Zuma are all top tier for me. And Mirror Ball w/ Pearl Jam is awesome too. I still gotta deep dive into his discog though. I've only been actively listening to his stuff for a couple years now and its an overwhelming amount of music to say the least.

Oh, I’m way deep with his discography.

I’d say my very favorites are:
    Everybody Knows This is Nowhere
    After the Gold Rush
    Tonight’s the Night
    Time Fades Away
On The Beach (Indeed, the very best)
    Zumba
    Rust Never Sleeps
    Freedom
    Ragged Glory
    Sleeps With Angels

Then there’s a lot of others that I really like that aren’t quite the level of those. Stuff like
    Silver & Gold
    American Star & Bars
    Trans
    Mirror ball/Merkinball

I could go on, but I find something to love on pretty much every release

    love Zumba, great exercise record

i don't have best neil young feelings, there's a record for every mood.

lately i've been in a steady rotation of the Dead Man Sountrack, selections from Zuma, and "old man", which i never really loved but these days i really do.

also listened to "Will To Love" a lot a lot a lot in recent months.

also, maybe this is more appropriate for the Jazz thread, but I've been love love lovvvvvvving this 1997 Fareed Hague cover of CSNY's Deja Vu.

Colorado is a pleasant surprise. A lot of cool vibes on the record and they definitely brought that crazy horse edge.

it's definitely impressive that he's just done whatever the fuck he wants to do for 50 years so he could still sound the same but still be fresh

Eternity has a similar melody to Teenage Kicks
