I hope it's not on the album. I like it as a standalone, but if it is, then I'll be okay with it. Same with IAAN, I hope it's not on the album lol.

Has anyone made the joke that Sealed to Me is clearly reworked version of Out of Range yet?

IAAN almost seems a shoe-in to be the lead single off the new record. Hope I'm wrong, though.

I'm thinking that Mene is the second single that was mentioned in the e-mail...

I just hope they are both standalones and the new album is full of songs we've never heard haha. I'd hate for the album to be 9 songs long and it have Mene, IAAN and something like Nobody Moves on it.

I think the three "locks" are Mene, Sealed to Me, and IAAN. The fact that Mene is being released WITH a B-side implies that it will be on the record, and is probably the single mentioned in the e-mail.

Just stopping by to say that their show at Merriweather in Maryland was freaking awesome and the reworked demos are the best versions of those songs. Love what they did with all 3 of them actually.

  10. what are the odds they updated Mene and these forthcoming vinyl have a different mix?

Is there a time length listed on any of the product pages?

My friend went with us on Tuesday and she was so mad that they didn't play any favorite weapon, I turned to her and said, "thank god"

None in Chicago either, and I was totally okay with it.

Edit: though, I was sad there was no PCTS

It's amusing to me that Soco is the only YFW song that has been played on the tour thus far, and that Noro and 1996 have both been played more than Soco.

I don't follow the Brand New community that closely, but is the trendy thing right now to hate YFW?

Don't hate it. But there are plenty of other songs from their discography I'd rather hear than anything off of YFW. I got to see "The No Seatbelt Song" in 2009 and "70x7" in 2014. I'm good.

I would be interested in seeing some of YFW songs with a modern Brand New twist similar to what Blink 182 did on their self titled tour to their older material

I guess I think that those songs are what they are and they should stay that way. I wouldn't want to hear them with a twist.

Wouldn't say that, I think people just realize it wasn't a very good album
