The people interviewed in that article are hedge fund managers, venture capitalists, and Goldman Sachs execs, not average people just trying to make a buck.

  6. To David, making $200,000 a year foreclosing on people's homes is exactly the same as working in Amazon warehouse. Both are evil but the workers need the job so there's nothing anyone can do

There's literally an entire section of the article dedicated to average people in the company:

And, I can tell you from personal experience, that the simple title of "hedge fund manager" doesn't mean much in terms of knowing how high up in the company/how much money they're making. A guy I graduated HS with worked with a small financial firm in Jersey and he was in control of a hedge fund as part of his job. Dude was not a millionaire, and still is not as far as I know.

I like how in order for this narrative to work these people have to be inherently evil and not capable of realizing that there are systemic problems in the system that they have benefited from, but also decent enough to be honest and tell the truth about who they support in order for an article to be written about it.

  11. No dude they just have to think that making their evil jobs more regulated will make people stop thinking of them as evil but let them keep their position

"Average" people who work for these companies are still making at least $100,000 a year.

Lol at you still trying this. You're so intellectually dishonest, it's no wonder why multiple people have you blocked. You do dumb shit like this all the time.

Are you suggesting any president is capable of causing them to lose their position?

Sooo....what? That means that they are incapable of supporting a good candidate, or that their support of a candidate automatically makes that candidate's policies less good?

And, again, I can tell you from actual people I know that this is not the case. Now, if they're literally working on Wall Street/in NYC then yes they're probably starting at 100K or more, but that's what cost of living does to salaries (and yes, 100K in NYC is not a lot of money because of COL). But that person working in Iowa? Unless they've been at the company for a while, very doubtful they're making 100K. Even here in my city which is literally known for banking, the starting salaries (at least 5+ years ago) were ~50-60K. I know people that work for Capital One, BoA, JPMorganChase, Citi, etc. the only one I know for sure is at or near 100K now is the guy at Citi. I'm not close enough with the others to know where they're at now.

One of my close friends works for one of the Big 4 accounting firms and he has been there 8 years and is just now starting to get close to getting to 100K. His starting was 50K and he was at that level for 3 years before he got his first promotion.

Manhattan? Or one of the neighborhoods in the surrounding boroughs getting gentrified by the white people with college degrees who aren't making enough money to live in already established 'rich' neighborhoods? Because those are two different stories obviously.
