The only thing I can figure is it's a combo of "rah Trump is tough of China so lets help Hong Kong stick it to the Chinese!", and a combo of they're flying American flags and asking Trump for help and holding up America as a beacon of hope and freedom so american right wingers get all red white and hot and bothered over all the Pro-America stuff

@Jason Tate Whenever i'm on chorus here at work, my page keeps automatically redirecting to some verizon clickbait "competition"/possible malware website. It's only this website it does it with.

 

Hong Kong used to be British til 97 and all the rich western-aligned business ppl want to go back to that so they can make more money. They fly flags like "Trump and Ted Cruz pls save Hong Kong." Some others want to be independent but the only uniting thing of the protests is police brutality. At this point CIA is def involved but HK police are a western style police force doing bad shit for sure. In general, its a lot of incongruent but ~mostly~ legitimate reasons for protest.

Right Wingers are going nuts over it because they want to balkanize China and destroy it.
