Pretty sure the folk who posted that were just joking about. Actual complaints about that were a while ago - I should know, most of the blowback was against me for it.

Also whenever I do criticise the band it gets shat on and I’m told I don’t like them because I dare criticise, for the record haha. I might criticise often but that’s because there had been nothing new in a while and I’m not just gonna endlessly sing their praises while I wait. I overanalyse stuff and play their music to death.

I wonder what it cost Matty to construct his bare cement house - would it be cheaper than normal? More expensive? How does it do regarding heat insulation? And I wonder where in London roughly it is as well

I feel like they're more than 50% finished with the album. I think they're going to say whatever they're going to say just to get people talking. In a sense they're fucking with us. I believe the album will be out in February.

It’s definitely more concrete than a general ‘May’ release given that this has an actual date attached, and vinyl is in production ~soon. Can’t see why they’d delay it now!

Hopefully that release date is more concrete than Matty’s house. 10/10 joke. Happy Friday.

I actually saw his house come up in an architectural forum not too long ago. It's apparently by a well known Japanese Achitect and is inspired by a Turner painting.

For sale: Tiverton Road, London NW10 | The Modern House

Ahhh, niceeee; I really like the house overall and what it represents. For a person like Matty, who probably has so much going through his head every day, it's the perfect place for him to remove himself from the outside world and really focus only on the essentials; to help calm his crazy mind and slow things down

Also, if you know any good architecture blogs to follow, I'm all ears; getting more into architecture and design the last few years

The song is probably a 3 month long audio track of a computer voice counting down to an announcement that the album is delayed
