hatebreed's discography in general is pretty consistently good. there are some bangers on concrete confessional too, imo.

 

That's fair, but I'd argue that Hatebreed's worst song is infinitely better than 5FDP's best.

Glad to hear. I'll have to check it out. I hadn't heard of this band but I saw they're touring with Uada, and local hero's Frozen Soul are opening (at least the Dallas show)

If you've never heard of 1349, they are akin to those other Norwegian hyperblast black metal bands like Dark Funeral, Tsjuder and Marduk.

 

I'm honestly having a hard time focusing on school because I am so excited. Volahn is one of my favorite bands of all time, same with Antediluvian, and the latter hasnt been to California since 2015 if I remember correctly. Black Cilice is playing their first US show ever. Black Witchery is disgusting live. And I do not dislike a single band. Plus I will be able to dig through a lot of records that I would usually have to pay out of country shipping for.

Wow, this guy is an asshole and can go straight to hell. Svalbard’s album is incredible and she doesn’t deserve this abuse at all.

re: Hatebreed

I'm probably in the minority here but I actually really prefer their most recent 4 albums or so to the older stuff. Also, I truly, TRULY envy those who've never heard the phrase "blues lives matter" before.

 

I think Hatebreed has remained pretty consistent throughout their career. They just went from more hardcore leaning to more metal/metalcore leaning as they went on.

 

1349's new album is solid, but I kinda feel like it's just gonna tide me over until the new Mayhem drops next week haha
