I let someone talk me into burger King and I have regrets. It just seems like a place where I'd find like half a lizard baked into my fry. Also i didnt know they had a nasty freestyle machine and this coke tastes like garbage

 

Sometimes lizards are tasty

I don't get why people here hate BK more than McDonald's and the like. Also this is the only place I've seen anyone dislike Freestyle Coke machines

 

The freestyle machines sounded amazing in theory. I was so excited when we got our first one in town but when I just want a normal regular soda it tastes so bad. It tastes more like a diet coke than a regular coke and I don't wish diet flavors on my worst enemy

 

I live in a very small town and none of the businesses here have sprung for a freestyle coke machine. The few times I've used them when I'm out of town the drinks did taste kind of funky.

 

the only thing wrong about five guys burgers is that they have freestyle coke machines. it's not the same as soda from a can since they just add water carbonation and syrup, but i feel like it's not enough syrup. cool you can mix shitty flavors, but give me more syrup or i'm just gonna drink water.. which i should be doing anyway but who eats five guys without a cherry soda

 

I've been drinking mimosas a lot lately and I have this thread to thank for that. I've also perfected them, and it's something like 90% champagne, 10% orange juice. Give it a good stir and enjoy. They're a lot of fun

 

Usually there's too much syrup. I like a lot of carbonation and usually fountain sodas are way too sweet

 

ooh maybe you're on to something and this is my problem with those machines cause my drink today did kinda resemble club soda in taste. Whatever it is it just tastes off. It's also just jarring when you've been drinking a certain flavor forever and get it and tastes nothing like you've come to know and expect.

 

i'm the total opposite. if i'm going to partake in the devil juice, then i want to go all the way and have the sweetest refreshing version. i'll only accept coke zero as an alternative

 

Dude..I read an article the other day that McDonalds is pressing charges on a guy who paid for water but filled the cup with lemonade. I thought it was an onion article at first.

I love the freestyle machines. Just don't get a regular soda from there, problem solved. I would never think to do that since I can get regular sodas anywhere.

 

If I'm already ordering fast food somewhere I'd rather get a drink from there too cause I'm lazy and extra trips suck. Also sometimes I forget to look to see if they're advertising a freestyle machine like today!! Just make the sodas taste normal instead of putting me out. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced cause their machines suck. Let me enjoy my consumerism in peace freestyle machines!

 

Coffee ones were good too

All pretty good. Pretzel is still my favorite.

 

I loved the pretzel one. I never see them anymore though. I think they might have been replaced with crispy, at least where I'm at.

 

I hope not. The sweet & salty mix is so good. I don't often but candy though, so maybe they did replace it

 

The lady and I are making shrimp with a garlic, soy sauce, lime, chili, honey, glaze. Should be pretty dope. Got some Magic Hat #9 too.

 

Magic Hat had this beer that was only in their summer sampler pack called HiCu (Haiku) and it was fucking delicious. It was hibiscus and cucumber which sounds nuts but it was so refreshing. I've never been able to find it again though.

 

Haven't had that one but I had a local cucumber beer in Atlanta that was fantastic.
