    Chocolate marshmallow milk sounds amazing.

And I know the thread's moved on, but I'm still here in disbelief that so many people hate cooked carrots and olives.

I worked at Olive Garden for 3 years. The appeal definitely wears off.

Isn't Olive Gardens motto now just, "Come on in?"

What lazy mother fucker came up with that? :crylaugh:

OG is fine if you have 0 expectations. For chain Italian, I prefer Carrabbas

Yeah, pretty much every option is better than OG. I do like the soup + salad + breadsticks... but that's about the only thing I've ordered from there in the past 10 years.

I like olive garden tbh! except I never go cause the closest one is an hour away and it's always so crowded with ppl like going to prom and wearing nice clothes for special events. I always feel underdressed cause like y'all know we're in olive garden right??

I don't think I've been to an OG in at least a decade, but they catered a couple of work lunches in the last few months and they were nearly inedible.

I think my standards for food are pretty low if I sit and think about it. We have most of the big fast food chains but don't have many like chain sit down restaurants like OG, Red Robin, Chili's, etc so I always wanted what I couldn't have. And even when we'd go to the town an hour away to go to the nearest mall lol we couldn't afford those places and we'd eat in the food court. So even now I get excited to go to those chain restaurants most ppl are indifferent to haha. I'm like woo I've made it!!

The quality of each OG varies greatly. I have worked at one where the kitchen staff took a lot of pride in their food and it reflected in the quality of the food and I have worked at one where nobody gave a fuck and you could definitely tell.

The allure of breadsticks wears off rather quickly when you are in constant proximity to them. I did eat an alarming amount of black olives and pepperoncini's while I worked there though. Their spicy calamari was also perfect.

This is just something I heard a few years ago from someone who worked there, so they may have just been lying or I misunderstood, but Enfield CT

I used to eat the weirdest shit there because I never wanted to order what was on the menu. We used to have these salad toppers, which were a terrible idea because they basically made free salad 1.99, but we had one that had kale, mozzarella, and roasted red peppers. I would put that on top of a Caesar salad with peppercorn ranch and spicy calamari. Still one of my favorite meals of all time, though I don't think it's possible to make anymore.

My family is like only a chain family. I try to get them to branch out but they always wanna go to chains. Which is totally fine I like chains too lol but sometimes if we're in the city I wanna try something local I've heard is good and they always drag their feet.

Oh, hey. CT, what up. I worked at one here for a brief period of time in Orange and it was the absolute fucking worst.

Also, did you say you knew of an all you can eat sushi place or did I make that up?
