I’ve always got a womanizer vibe from Goldblum. It sucks that it seems to be true.

 

Oh boy, this one is going to hurt. He’s someone that I’ve always really loved while also understanding that his vibe is super out there, and because I’ve never heard any specific stories of being inappropriate I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But like others I did always have this vague fear which I never really wanted to voice that he may actually be a creep.

Even without reading the twitter thread I can think of quite a few examples of things he’s done that weren’t quite “right” but also weren’t explicitly problematic. And like Leo his interest in super young women has always been something I’ve been concerned about, but it’s incredibly difficult to talk about that when from the public perspective everyone is a consenting adult.

Nothing is ever really surprising when it comes to this sort of thing now, but every time it’s just so exhausting and heartbreaking.

Yeah it's very weird to me that just because you gave yourself the title 'comedian' you now feel the right (the responsibility even!) to turn every awful thing into a tasteless joke.

I'm a guitarist and play a lot of weddings/parties, but it would be weird as hell if I decided it was my right to shred everytime I go to a funeral.

It all comes down to knowing your audience. I’ll joke around about traumatic stuff I’ve personally been through or my father’s illness to help cope with it but not in front of everyone or broadcast live on the internet or on stage at random people.

Just saw a commercial for upcoming Conan shows and it said that Rosario Dawson is one of the guests. Is Conan “live” each weeknight like other shows? I wonder if she will still be on or when the episode was filmed and / or how awkward that’s gonna be (if at all) if it filmed “live” or super recently after this info came out
