Lean is great!

It doesn't seem like anyone agrees, but Book of Love has always been one of my favs off Damage

 

Lean is so good. So is Book Of Love.

My main complaint with Damage is that I think the last few songs aren’t on the same level of good as the rest of the album before. I kinda begin to tune out after Please Say No.

 

Book of Love is one of, if not my favorite off that record.

Just listened to Integrity Blues on this dark rainy morning. So fucking good.

 

goddamn I feel like some of these lyrics are gonna take me places while at work on Friday haha

 

I know it is just a difference of 24 hours and that I am being extremely impatient and irrational, but this not leaking yet is bumming me out.....

 

it's actually 38 hours

 

Honestly, if it leaks before Friday I won't listen.

I'm probably lying though.

Well yeah, but most albums that I've been waiting for these days have been "leaking" sometime on Thursday when various people around the world get them or preorders show up or whatever the case may be. It isn't even really a true leak like we used to get back in the day which was weeks and weeks ahead of time a lot of the time.

I almost always download the 'leak' on Thursday even if I am 99% sure that my official copy is showing up the next day...

Lotta great songs from the Damage era.

In retrospect there’s a palpable feeling of exhaustion in the live shows around that time. I wonder if that affected some fans reception to the music...

Is 2013 also right around the time when Jim sought treatment for alcohol abuse?

 

Had no idea Jim sought out treatment for alcohol abuse. I’d be very interested to read up on anything regarding that
