Always a good choice. can't wait for my A24 book! Got my tickets purchased for The Lighthouse, and really hope his Nosferatu is up next!

I cringe just as hard watching him attempt to dive into the lake.

ah that's awesome. I'm pretty bummed with the lack of classic horror screening around me. there's a Drive-In not far and not a single classic film like Night of the Living Dead or something screening. huge missed opportunity

Yeah thankfully our place does a pretty good job each October. Definitely a wasted opportunity at that drive-in though! Hey, at least you got to see Alien!

The Witch is so great. Definitely need to watch that again this season.

For some reason The Lighthouse isn't opening in theaters around me until NEXT weekend. Hate to wait another week, but I'm just glad there are showings around me.

Watched Killer Klowns From Outer Space last night for the first time in a few years. Still one of my favorites. A true classic.

And planning on watching The House Of The Devil tonight since it's been a couple years since I have watched that one as well.

Gah The House of the Devil is so good. They are doing a screening of it at the actual house this year too.

That's awesome, I had to look it up and the house is in Lakeville, unfortunately, the other side of the state for me. When I first saw it I noticed the college campus scenes looked awfully familiar. I looked it up and it was shot where I went to grad school, Central Connecticut State University

Watched Annihilation last night. Really loved the first 2/3 of it, but it kind of fell apart in the last act for me.

Watch the remake. It's brutal but one of my favorite horror movies in recent memory

Yea her dorm room was shot in the main administrative building which is one of the oldest on campus, so I figured they used it since the movie took place in the 80s

Ah, I loved the end tbh. It's admittedly not a movie for everyone though. I still listen to that soundtrack occasionally at work.
