I keep getting random, unreleased NOACF songs popping up on my shuffle. It’ll just stop and say like “Track 3”... “Track 20”... or whatever and then quickly move to the next random song.

It’s driving me absolutely mad...

-album is 50% done
-finishing up the album between now and the end of November
-'depth' track played recently will likely not be on the album
-album must be finished by December, isn't particularly worried, but said if it isn't something he's in love with, and worst comes to worst, he won't release the album
-no idea what will happen with Charli XCX collab
-working on visuals for 'Milk' so they can add it to the live set

Pleased about all of that. ‘Depth’ was kinda more of the same I think.

Also of note - claims they’ll be playing four new songs on that Laneway night. Or at least ‘all the songs that are out’ - so two at minimum.

 

What's Depth?

 

It was an instrumental they played during the last tour. Very ‘Petrichor’ / latter half of ILYWYS.

I mean that is this Friday but seems very unlike them to not have already put out some sort of announcement and build hype around it. Though I guess maybe they could mention it tomorrow and drop it Friday?

 

Don’t they usually announce it on the Wednesday, play it on Annie Mac’s World’s Hottest Record Thursday, then release it on platforms that night? Idk.
