I'm afraid this first cover isn't doing much for me. Then again I never really cared for the original

But if that's the standard I guess the only one on the track list I know/like is Dammit haha

Super excited for Dammit. Ruston is unreal. I wish I had time to see him when he comes to Toronto.

Saw his show last night in Dallas. They sounded great, of course. From the Emo EP, the only song they played was Teenage Dirtbag. He also played a new original song called Hellfire.

All Too Well was on the setlist as the first song of the encore but they skipped it and went straight to Asshole. Kind of a bummer but the show was still great. I just wish he played longer. I think he went an hour and 15 minutes? It blew by.

 

All Too Well is streaming now. Such a banger.

So happy I can have this on Spotify now.

 

Kinda disappointed the Helena cover is only half the song.

Dammit cover is cool, just wish there was more vocoder-ness like he posted in his insta story forever ago now.

It's cool for what it is, doubt I'll go back to it much.

 

This is really fun but i would trade one of the Teenage Dirtbags for a full Helena in a heartbeat

also he updated his merch and this sweatshirt is so sick

 

He was selling this on tour and I almost bought one. I would have if it was just the bird logo.

 

Certainly not anything groundbreaking. But at least he comes by it honestly.

 

It's a fun little cover album but really I just hope it exposes him to more people around this site and in general cause his original music is amazing.
