This is my staple Halloween movie. It will always be the LAST movie I watch in October.

Here’s what I found on Netflix (Canada) that I’m going to try to get through in the next 3 weeks or so:

    Scream 3
    Gerald’s Game
    Annabelle Creation
    Hereditary
    Would You Rather
I Spit on Your Grave 1/2
    In the Tall Grass
    Hush
    The Invitation
    From Dusk Till Dawn
    Blair Witch (2016)
    Mother!
    Train to Busan
    Creep 1/2
    Anaconda
    [REC]
    The Perfection
    Overlord
    Annihilation
    Terrifier
    Psycho

Looks like I’m going to be busy.

Currently watching Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich. It's ridiculous in the best way. Anyone on here with Shudder. What are some must watch movies on the site?

Watched both Frankenhooker and Prince of Darkness yesterday, wasn't massively impressed by either but had an enjoyable enough time with them.

Frankenhooker features no one I have ever heard of and though it isn't the first Frank Henenlotter film he has directed I have seen, that'd be Basket Case which I didn't care for at all, this what not only better but more engrossing due to how barmy the plot is.

Prince of Darkness I really wanted to love and though there is plenty to like I just didn't find the horror element to work for me which ultimately undermined a great deal of the film but Carpenter has done far worse and I look forward to watching In The Mouth of Madness which is one of the last notable films from him I have yet to see.

I watched Creepshow 2 and Tales From The Darkside last night. Creepshow 2 was decent, really enjoyed Tales. Look forward to diving into the Creepshow series this weekend. Long holiday weekend, sooo much spooky will be watched

Does anyone watch the Nexpo youtube channel? It's more ARG/creepy/unnerving internet stuff, but it definitely brings the creeps.

Looks like Shudder, HBO Go, and others. Doesn't look like one platform has every one

  13. I've been hooked on Atrocity Guide, which sounds similar. Lots of weird/unsettling internet stuff

I gotta check that out then, and you Nexpo.

I live for that stuff. I got hooked on a "disturbing things from around the internet" series at work and literally jumped anytime anyone walked by my office.

To anyone on here interested in Shudder and also still buys physical media, the Blu-ray copy of Crawl that comes out next week will come with a free 3 month Shudder sub

Two minutes in and I’m already more creeped out than I’ve been for all of AHS this season. Sardo save me.

I love this so much. Everybody better watch it so I have people to talk to. I’m still not into the major change of the format and going the “stories turning real” idea, but they clearly put a ton of work into this and it shows.

ALSO OH MY GOD THEY GOT SOMEONE FROM THE ORIGINAL SHOW FOR THE STORY I’M FREAKING OUT!

The Silence of the Lambs was the film for today and though I personally prefer Manhunter this is still rightly held up as one of the best of its kind and it still manages to be engrossing even after multiple watches. A big shame we didn't get a proper following film with Jodie Foster though I do still like the sequel we got.

Haha, if you have never seen the French & Saunders parody give it a look. A British classic in its own right.
