Assassin's Creed Origins is easily one of the best games of this generation. Just had to mention that again. Better than any first party game Sony or Microsoft put out if you ask me. It also probably had the best open world next to BotW (RDR2 might have a great one in theory one but why bother finding out ).

Hellblade isn't cool. I thought it looked cool until I played it. The combat feels great though so maybe multiplayer is the way to go lol

 

Anyone ever play crosscode? Is that game still in early access?

 

Hoping for a gen with all three main companies at full strength, no Xbox One launch disaster again hopefully

yeah it was announced back in like January or even December 2018 and there's been nothing since then lol

 

I think streaming is very much going to be a thing, I don't really know if Google will be the ones to establish it. I'd rather see Microsoft doing it.

 

Obsidian has always been one of those ‘what could be’ developers. The reality is that their most relevant games were existing IPs and their unique IPs dont have alot of market share. If theyve got ideas in the tank then fine but we havent seen them. Who even knows if those same guys from before 2010 are still working for them.

Just because they've worked with established IP doesn't mean the games aren't great or the studio isn't talented. Look how many people have tried and failed to make good Star Wars games, it's not as easy as it may seem.

Also Obsidian has the original creators of Fallout working on The Outer Worlds so I think it's safe to say their creative team is pretty solid.
