One time a guy came through the Starbucks drive thru I was working at watching porn on his laptop

 

No clue. When you poorly design infrastructure that can cause wildfires, you take extreme measures I suppose.

It's so frustrating not knowing if I'll be affected for sure tho. PG&E said they informed everyone likely to be affected but I didn't get an email, but our apt complex did warn us about the possibility and their maps show I'm like 1 street inside.

The fucked up thing is that I was so excited to chill at home through next Tuesday since our office closed today for moving and now... hahaha.

Oh well. Just trying to stay calm. I'm ahead in my work, so I can survive there and obviously my boss understands, tho as he is in SF proper, he doesn't have to worry himself.

This reminds me of being at the wendys drive thru in high school and being absurdly stoned. My friend was driving and as soon as we pulled up to the ordering screen, he broke out laughing uncontrollably and I had to cover his mouth and order for both of us. Wendy was not happy that day.

Yes, some of Oakland will be affected. Basically everywhere in the whole Bay Area, except SF and SJ, are affected. We're talking over 800,000 customers.

Also SoCal could be next hit with this.
