i listened to a podcast that talked about their experience with this and it sounds like a blast

 

Can’t wait to buy all my favourite PS4 games again but remastered for 5. I initially meant that as a joke but honestly I see that happening. At least GTA 6 hasn’t been announced for this gen, cos last gen I bought that...3 times I think.

 

Wonder how remasters will work since every PS4 game is BC. A new release at full price developed for PS5? Update file to the PS4 version?

 

I mean weren’t a decent amount of 360 games BC for One? Don’t think it’ll be that different, though given that ALL are BC supposedly I’d hope for a discounted price.

Now that we know PS5 is launching probably the first or second Friday in November 2020, I wonder when Microsoft will launch the NeXtBox. They launched a week apart in 2013, so that could happen again. I wonder if Microsoft will launch sometime in October instead just to have a few weeks of being the only new console on the market. Going to be interesting.

 

Yeah it will be very interesting. Especially since they have Halo launching with it. Feel like that would be quite an advantage with pre-orders and pre-PS5 release. Especially if the game is good and word of mouth starts to spread. Sony would still sell a lot but the numbers might be closer.

Plus the PS5 is pretty ugly right now, idk if they have time to change how it looks, but that thing just looks ugly even if it runs well

I honestly don’t see it looking that different to the PS4 Pro. Other than that fat monstrosity that they called 3, their designs from 2 have been pretty consistent. They don’t need to reinvent the wheel here.

In some European countries the Xbox One launched a year after the PS4, because of some Kinect localization problems. They couldn’t fix them by the way, so the wait was for nothing. Luckily those consoles didn’t have a great first year in terms of games. I was playing Dark Souls 2 on my 360 instead.

 

Hey guys it’s me the person who’s actually worked with devkits before.

Most early dev kits just look like square boxes, kind of like a desktop computer. This one is very much designed which is weird.
