Initial thoughts are that I love this, obviously. It feels like the perfect mix of UFOF and Capacity, definitely more immediate than UFOF. I totally thought the title track was something reworked off UFOF, but now I realize it was one of the songs off the 7" hahah still soooo glad that song exists, one of my immediate favorites. The Toy, Replaced, and Cut My Hair are my other favorites outside the singles, which are both some of the best songs of the year imo.
Started out the year not understanding the Big Thief love, but I'm so glad I'll be finishing it a huge fan. I really can't believe they cranked out this album and UFOF in the same year.

For anyone worried about the vinyl rip, I thought it was fine. You can kinda hear the crackles but it didn't bother me.

 

I wouldn’t mind hearing this a little early

 

this band is so stupid good lol
