Does anyone know what he means by "London Drugs" is it just drinking? Love the song but have no idea what "London Drugs" means haha

 

Judging from these lyrics:

"You happened to notice my anxious commotion
As my heart bled through my shirt
I’ve been a little heavy handed keepin’ it at work"

I think he's probably talking about MDMA or cocaine, if he's actually referencing real drugs and it's not just a metaphor

 

Sorry to double post but the only thing that's gonna stop me from listening to this non-stop is a new Jimmy Eat World album, which is an amazing thing to think about and it makes me quite happy

 

This, Bayside, JEW...already a great fall for legacy scene bands.

 

Besides the singles I really like Last to Know, I can’t stop drinking, and farewell youth

 

Dealers in larger English cities will tend to walk up to groups of people at night and ask you if you want any drugs haha it's likely a song about that situation occuring, found myself relating to it pretty hard

I think I have spent enough time with this now to confidently say that it is a very good Menzingers record.

For those complaining there aren’t any punk bangers on this thing, if you haven’t already you should check out the Spanish Love Songs album from last year. Gets a lot of comparisons to this band.

I went to my mailbox today expecting this or the Tyler the creator record that’s been delayed for a while and I found a jury duty summons... RIP

 

Jury duty actually seems pretty tight to me. I suppose it depends on your case and the group of jurors you are with though.

 

I was summoned for jury duty for the first time ever last year, was dreading it, and then it was canceled the day before I was supposed to go. That was a good day.

I’d never listened to this band before last week, but I have listened to this album a number of times since like Thursday I think and I just totally love it. I keep finding different things I enjoy about it, but really the songwriting keeps standing out to me.

Hot take...I wish the title track wasn’t on the album.
