I went to Polygon to check gaming news and stuff and stumbled on list of the movie versions of the Joker ranked and this was in the article:

"Jack Nicholson’s Joker has a lot working against him. The actor was in his 50s and a little doughy around the midsection."

Does anyone else find that dumb and strange?

how about konami and square soft from ps1 through ps2 era for crazy effective and influential developers

 

Those two are/were mainly publishers though right? They have in house studios of course, so you’d have to specify.

 

yeah maybe, I know the studio that made all my fave konami stuff went by just ’konami entertainment tokyo’. have no idea if that was a blanket name for multiple teams or what. and Ive also got no idea with squaresoft, but I figured it was a bunch of the same people making those classic jrpgs.

 

As I understand it, a lot of those teams were pretty, uh, fluid, with people being shuffled around

 

If we're having the same discussion, but for publishers, I don't think there's any contest that Nintendo has been the best publisher overall in the industry's history, let alone for any specific ten-year span.

anyone played Assemble with Care? made by the people who did Monument Valley. also reminds me a lot of Florence (which was also made by Monument Valley’s designer but with a different studio I think)

Wow, Beat Saber is a blast. Didn’t think I’d be into it, honestly.

 

I have gone to check if that RoR2 update is out today more than doing anything else at work
