i left after the second match. seems like i had a better night than y'all

wwe's going to learn the hard way that they can't keep booking shit like this. fuck finishes are bad, but they need to stop booking themselves into situations they feel the need to get out of. how about just properly build up a show over time so that you don't have to do a fuck finish at the end? this seems to be the low point for the company creatively, and thats shocking considering the summer of raw's we saw.

 

Anyways it’s obvious that the suits at fox and the murderous Saudi regime are in charge of all of WWE’s bookings for the foreseeable future

 

How do y’all not remember the same shit happening last year

 

It was so simple - if you don’t want the title on Bray don’t book this match

instead you have him no-sell for 12 minutes in a horribly lit ring and then get TKO’d

he looked like a dumb ass

tonight also proves that WWE has no idea how to write and book for the fiend

Even as a WWE optimist, I don’t see a way out of this one without just straight acting like it didn’t happen. Like a Vince before the start of the attitude era announcement about insulting our intelligence. At least NXT is still very good. I don’t know that this would make me stop watching. I know it won’t drive me to AEW because my interest there is already only so-so and if I end up getting into it more it won’t be because wwe is bad but because AEW is good.

 

Also there is no logic to anything - the Fiend has proved that he just needs to appear out of nowhere ambush his opponent with the claw and then he wins

this should have been a 30 second match - they ruined the aura of the fiend

I could definitely see them pulling a Women's MITB match and just do Fiend vs Seth inside HIAC tomorrow but get it right

 

The show did a nosedive not long after, ending with the spectacular crash and burn that was the main event, which saw a Hell in a Cell match end in a disqualification or, if not that, a no contest because the referees stopped it. They stopped it, mind you, to protect Bray Wyatt.

Seriously!

Bray Wyatt, the big bad scary monster who has been terrorizing everyone for weeks, who had his opponent in this very match, Universal Champion Seth Rollins, pissing down his leg for the past couple weeks, had to be saved by a referee because he was getting the absolute shit beaten out of him by that same scared guy.

The Fiend is ruined
That was awful, and bad, and dumb, and WWE should be ashamed

 

anyways, AEW fans acting like the entire PPV was the worst thing ever and everything WWE does is garbage despite the fact that the Sasha/Becky match was fantastic and outside of the main event, the rest of the show was pretty good certainly doesn't really make me want to get into AEW.

 

They turned Seth into 2015-2016 Roman

he’s gonna get late 2000s Cena heat but he won’t be able to handle it like Cena did

 

Even the very good Becky/Sasha match had the wrong booking

this was a glorified Raw episode

 

I can’t wait to see the next great character Bray comes up with - only for WWE to ruin it

Yeah the lighting gave a cool effect to the match on TV, but I imagine it was not great for a lot of fans in the audience.

 

The more I think about it the more I agree heel Sasha is dead. She had no significant wins since coming back, then gets a DQ and then taps out at the next PPV. I'm sure people will defend it, but we've seen this momentum-killing shit before. Very small chance she recovers from this I think.

 

She will probably win the title tomorrow with help from Bayley so that Becky can go to SDL

 

Didn’t think it could get any worse with the cuck main event on raw didn’t think it could get any worse with Kofi being jobbed out to MMA part timers .... but they topped it with this finish
