Loved this. The soundtrack was so good. Very proud of Andy and Rob.

Haven't seen anything about a UK release or any UK reviews, so it might still be upcoming here.

I'm not totally sure how I feel about this one. Dano and Radcliffe were great, and there were some really awesome scenes, buuut it felt a little long to me and I really didn't like the ending. The soundtrack is amazing though.

Saw this today. Speechless, I loved it. It will also be a hard (pun intended) one to explain to my friends.

This was definitely an interesting film. Still trying to figure out what I thought of it exactly.

Not sure how I feel about it. I was kind of uncomfortable for the last 15 min or so, then a bit of nervous laughter at the very end, haha.

Absolutely loved this. Most entertaining movie I've seen in quite a while.

  12. Had an great experience seeing this in the theater last night. Flat-out loved it. Laughed harder than I have in a long time and walked away with more thoughts and feelings than I ever anticipated. The performances and score were amazing.

Some friends and I talked about this and Todd Solondz's "Weiner-Dog"

Guess I should just listen to this, but how was Weiner-Dog? I really love Welcome to The Dollhouse and Happiness, but some of Solondz' more recent work has been kinda underwhelming for me.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Off the bat I would say it is not as entertaining as WTTDH or Happiness, but Todd's movies are still an experience. It's told in 4 vignettes, which was interesting.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to see it regardless, because I'm sure it will at least be interesting.

  18. Really liked this. Hilarious exploration of life and loneliness. Some of the funniest stuff I've seen this year as well as some of the saddest, which is a great feat to pull off. Dano and Radcliffe are great, as is the soundtrack. Though, the ending left me conflicted. I spent the whole movie really sympathizing with Hank, but the ending made that much harder to do, so I'm not sure what to take away from it all.
Also, cameo by Shane Carruth was cool and caught me by surprise.

  19. Dano was interesting to listen to on WTF. "[Daniels] wanted the first fart to make you laugh, and the last fart to make you cry, and I think that's fucking brilliant."

I now own the soundtrack on vinyl AND the Blu-Ray. So excited to see how this does during awards season.

  23. Any word on when this hits Netflix? If not, I might have to Redbox it.

This might have been my favorite ending of the year. Absolutely bonkers, almost equal parts uncomfortable and hilarious... sympathetic to the character while also acknowledging that his actions were fucked up and creepy. This film was fascinating as a whole, but that ending is what I'm gonna be thinking about moving forward
