Yeah I guess I can understand that, it's just something that never gets old to me personally

 

I'd say watch the league so you can see how his transition from a quirky character that they can use sparingly for good effect to a full time character negatively effects the quality of the show but then I remembered the show was never actually really that good

 

Rafi was real fuckin funny for a while haha

 

The League is maybe the worst show that I watched live from start to finish.

 

yes and it’s already established that Mindy St. Claire has restarted Derek a ton which is why he’s way more coherent than he was in s2

 

Yeah, that's why I put "Died" in quotes, I hope he's just out of the picture for at least a few episides.

 

Sad to see all this mantzoukas hate

 

This was literally the two part premiere, it's a bit early to complaining about the quality of the season I think


I could see Michael already having been replaced by the fake one being true though, he was acting a bit weird

 

I can’t even fathom saying anything negative about Jason Mantzoukas, it’s like I’m trying to read Wingdings or something

 

He’s hysterical but yes, he works best in small doses. If he’s in something as a regular, it would be like Creed from The Office having his own show or something. That much oddness and abrasiveness just doesn’t work when it’s too much.

 

He's fine in this, I'd definitely find him annoying if he was a main character

 

Derek sucks. I saw a load of people flipping out online after he first appeared cos maybe they like him in other things(?) but I've found him annoying and not funny in this.

 

Mantzoukas is great Derek is great and I laughed way too hard at Chidi randomly getting hit in the face with the book.

 

I mean, he’s an actor. He doing the roles he gets and up to this point he’s just been typecast as the loud abrasive guy. I don’t think any show would have him be *that* kind of guy as a main protagonist

 

I am all for a show about Creed haha that would be amazing

I'll take more Jason Mantzoukas in everything. He's great in big mouth...granted it's a cartoon
