Watched Hellraiser for the first time. It was one of those movies that I never knew what it was actually about so I've had a made up plot in my head since seeing the VHS box as a kid. Nothing like I imagined and much more enjoyable than I ever thought it'd be.

Picked up the Producer's Cut of Halloween 6 after being reminded about it from the In Myers We Trust trailer. Only 6 bucks for the Blu-ray on Amazon. Any consensus on it in here? I like the theatrical release even though it's pretty terrible.

Going to catch Night of the Living Dead at a drive-in theater my friends found about 40 minutes away from us tonight. Pumped for that.

Sad I missed the Scary Movie talk. 1-3 are all classics to me, and I find the third just as good as the first two thanks to Brenda. This always gets me laughing.

I think I've only seen the producers cut of Halloween 6 and it's pretty bad

Watched Ruin Me on Shudder today. I liked the concept enough, and it was somewhat entertaining, but I feel like the execution could have been a bit better. Dragged along big time too for a 90 minute film.

Rewatched Dude Bro Party Massacre 3 for the first time since it was released, and while I remembered loving it at the time, it really does deserve heavy praise for its commitment and consistency; I feel like a movie like this would normally fizzle out after about 15-20 minutes, but there’s an attention to detail here that really elevates it to another level and the humor is sustained if not increased throughout. If you love cheesy 80s horror, or just funny movies, this is an absolute must watch that is not talked about nearly enough.

I’ve been slowly running the Hellraiser series this year. First 2 are great but they take a hard nose dive after that. Adam Scott being one of the stars of 4 is fun though

As long as you know what to expect overall, you will probably enjoy it as much as me.

Very true. Never actually seen it before, going to toss it on now. Thanks for the heads up!

The first one was intense when I saw it but happened to catch one of the sequels before on TV. The only thing I remember was there’s a scene at a rave and Pinhead had CDs flying into people’s heads

Watched the first Hell House LLC tonight, are the sequels worth checking out? First one was alright.

Watched Sleepy Hollow last night and it is way more violent than I remember it being but still a really enjoyable watch with a great aesthetic, another superb score by Danny Elfman and the cast is pretty good as well.
